The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 5-Port PoE Router (ERPOE-5) combines carrier-class reliability with enterprise-level features in a compact and affordable unit for use in small business settings. The EdgeRouter can be easily configured for routing, security, and management featured required to efficiently run your network via the proprietary and intuitive graphical interface, EdgeOS. This router allows you to manage your network by setting up multiple DHCP servers in different subnets on the different interfaces, conveniently track network activity and devices, and manage access to the EdgeRouter. Additionally, this unit enables you to secure your network by organizing the firewall policy rules, applying those rules to groups filtered by IP address, and customizing NAT rules. Finally, with this unit, the user can direct traffic flow by configuring static routes and dynamic routing protocols and configuring VLAN interfaces for network segmentation.
